Why Surfing is Cool

Here is how they do it in Ireland... I enjoyed this and hope you will too.

Sorry, had to remove the video because it wasn't playing properly. If you haven't had a look at it yet, I highly recommend it, and you can still see it at:

Happy Mother's Day Canada!

I hope all you mother's had a wonderful day!  I had to date the best Mother's Day yet.  We went to Sennen which is about 35 mins from here for the first time today.  It has a beautiful beach and a beach side cafe over looking the water.  After a nice lunch the kids and I played in the water and got soaked.  We had to strip the kids to nothing to get them into the car but we had so much fun! After that we came home, played in the garden and had a great steak dinner compliments of Chef Marky.  The day ended with a bath (for the kids of course) which included swimming hats Lochlan found and promptly shared.  Here are some pictures of our day.  I've also included a couple of Miah on her new bike and her during her pedicure earlier this week.

Cheers L

Beach Day!!!

Today was a gorgeous day, so we decided to head out to the beach. The water was cold but that didn't stop the kids from getting good and soaked. Olivia isn't quite sure if she like the surf or not, but she had a great time in the sand. Had a a nice lunch, and now I guess I better get the lawn mowed while the sun is still shining.  Long weekend here, so we will just be haning out.   Hope this finds you all well... M

Happy 3rd Birthday Miah!

OK so her birthday was actually the April 22 but I've been a bit slack in blogging. As her birthday landed on a Wednesday we had a picnic at the duck pond and had cupcakes instead of a birthday cake. The weather cooperated and the kids had a great time. We then had a birthday party for her on Sat. It was a princess theme so the kids all made their own crowns, played pin the crown on the princess and pass the parcel. Followed by food and cake and everyone was happy.

Miah has started what I call the pink princess phase, which every little girl I've known goes through. The more frilly/sparkly the better, she loves the princesses and Dora and of course her favourite colour is pink. She still loves to colour and draw and do crafts and loves the parc. She partakes in "mynastics", Todlins (singing and dancing) and swimming whenever I can get her there. She will start preschool in the fall a few mornings a week and it will be really good for her. She is quite social and enjoys constant activity. So here are some pictures of our little princess. I've also included some pictures from Easter holidays and a robins nest that a bird built in pushchair in the garage. Unfortunately a cat got it. L
